What is wheeled energy?
Wheeled energy — also referred to as energy wheeling or off-site embedded generation — is a model where a renewable energy facility generates electricity at a remote location and supplies it to your business via the national grid. The energy is "wheeled" to you, with grid usage charges applied, and the net cost is typically still significantly lower than Eskom's standard tariff.
