Junior Project Engineer
SOLINK is looking for a Junior Project Engineer with a passion for renewable energy to join our team in Sandton, Johannesburg. This role provides an opportunity to fulfil a role in a rapidly growing company with large potential.

What you will be doing
- Management of renewable energy project feasibility analyses across multiple sites
- Understanding site conditions and information gathering
- Determining the best energy solution for clients' needs
- Engaging with clients to understand requirements and objectives
- Business case assessments through financial and yield modelling
- Design and system sizing of solar PV and battery projects
- Project permitting (SSEGs etc) and technical due diligence
- Reporting, client engagement and greenfield project development
- Assisting with tender documentation, EPC/IPP liaison and adjudication
- Interface with SOLINK Construction Management and operations departments

Required
- Technical qualification (BSc Eng — Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic)
- Minimum 2 years experience in project management / project engineering in solar PV
Beneficial
- MSc Engineering Degree (or similar)
- At least one year of AutoCAD LT exposure
- Electrical engineering background or experience
- Design experience for solar PV projects
- Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Physical requirements
- Own transport and driver's licence
- Reside in Johannesburg or immediate surrounds
