Project Engineer
SOLINK is looking for an experienced solar Project Engineer to manage the project development, feasibility and procurement processes of renewable energy projects on behalf of SOLINK's clients across all sectors of the market. Based in Sandton, Johannesburg, with travel across parts of South Africa expected.

What you will be doing
- Manage renewable energy project development across multiple sites
- Understand site conditions, client requirements and objectives
- Business case assessments through financial and yield modelling
- Project permitting and technical due diligence
- Greenfield solar PV and battery project development
- Arrange and run project meetings, distribute agendas and minutes
- Manage procurement: tender documentation, EPC/IPP liaison and adjudication
- Ad hoc technical and commercial project analyses
- Interface with SOLINK Construction Management and operations departments
- Develop and refine SOLINK's Procurement department's scope and tools
Required
- Technical qualification (B/BSc Eng — Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic)
- Minimum 1.5 years solar PV project engineering experience at a Solar EPC or advisor in the South African C&I embedded generation market
- Good understanding of financial drivers and metrics of renewable energy systems
- Valid driver's licence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Familiar with Google Workspace
